1. DESCRIPTION
--------------
REMINDER V3.0 is an events reminder for Win 3.x and Win 95. Ever
forgotten a birthday, a long-standing appointment, your wedding
anniversary? Well, never again if you run Reminder on your machine.
When you boot Windows for the first time each day (or every time if
you prefer), it will pop up a reminder of forthcoming events within
a range you set. AND you can opt to keep overdue items, like
paying bills, on the screen till you've done the deed.

2. INSTALLATION
---------------

A) Insert the Installation disk into your floppy drive

B) Run the program SETUP.EXE . SETUP will automatically:

	- create a new Reminder program group (or folder)
	- create icons for Reminder and support files
	- install the required files to a directory of your choice,
	( C:\REMINDER by default )

C) Configure the program. Create a few events to get a feel for the
program's operation. Size the grid columns, resize and position
the Reminders window, to suit your screen resolution and tastes.
To run the program automatically when Windows starts ( STARTUP MODE )
simply check the appropriate box in the Options screen.

D) If un-installing is required, simply use the appropriate icon from
your Reminder program group. To manually uninstall you need to
delete the files Reminder.exe,Reminder.hlp and Reminder.ini from your
system together with the Reminder program group and startup icon.

3. ORDERING
-----------
Registering costs 10 (+ postage if disks are required), via cheque, money order
or online through CompuServe SWREG ( US$17 ) # 14867. The shareware version is
easily onverted to the registered version by means of an "Un-lock" code, so no
further downloads or disks are needed. Registration means full support, free
upgrades, and no nag-screens. See ORDER.TXT for details of registering Reminder.

4.NOTES.
--------
This edition of Reminder uses a fixed datafile called Reminder.rem. If you
are using version 2.x of Reminder, simply copy your existing datafile to
the directory where you installed Reminder v3.0, delete the sample Reminder.rem
file and rename your old datafile to Reminder.rem.
